From there on, Manish continued successfully with the role of Ryan Ray in the TV drama series “Halt and Catch Fire” (2016), then the lead role in the historical drama film “Viceroy’s House” in 2017, while most recently, Manish was chosen for the part of Devon Pravesh in the TV drama series “The Resident” (2018-2019). The same year he had a supporting role in the crime thriller film “Breaking the Girls”, with Agnes Bruckner, Madeline Zima and Shawn Ashmore in lead roles, while in 2014 he reached stardom with the lead role of Hassan in the Golden Globe Award-nominated comedy-drama film “The Hundred-Foot Journey”, co-starring Helen Mirren and Om Puri. Gradually Manish’s name was becoming more popular, and it was in 2011 that he experienced success when he was chosen for the role of Raj Kher in the TV romantic comedy-drama series “90210”, and portrayed Ajit in the film “White Frog” in 2012. He also had a supporting role in the comedy-drama film “Walkaway”. Later the same year he starred in the romantic film “On the Other Side”, and continued with film roles in the next few years, appearing in such projects as the drama “Cain’s Mark” in 2008, then the comedy “Karma Calling” in 2009, while in 2010 he had a minor role in the fantasy action-adventure “The Sorcerer’s Apprentice”, starring Nicolas Cage, Monica Belluci and Teresa Palmer. Manish moved to New York to pursue his career, and made his debut in the short film “Time and the Hour Run” in 2005, while in 2006 he had a minor role in the Indian film “Kabhi Alvida Naa Kehna”. For his high school education, Manish attended Heathwood Hall Episcopal School and upon matriculation enrolled at George Washington University., graduating with a Bachelor of Arts degree in theatre and acting, and later continued his education as he enrolled at The New York Conservatory for Dramatic Arts.
